Types of Fasting
There is no right or wrong way to fast, and it bothers me to hear or read people say that unless you are water fasting, it is not a true fast. That is so wrong!! There are several different types of fast and no matter which type of fast you decide to do, if it is listed below - it is indeed a fast. All of the methods of fasting below have proven benefits, you just have to decide which one is best for you.

Exercise & Fasting
Anyone who is using fasting as a way to lose weight always ask the following question:
Can you exercise on a fast?
Let me preface this post by saying: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. Neither am I a NURSE, NURSE PRACTITIONER, or anything else in the medical field. I am just a person who's spent the last five or so years of my life fasting off & on and learning about fasting. I've researched & read TONS of articles on fasting, frequented many fasting forums, read the scriptures on fasting and I wholeheartedly believe that fasting can be a wonderful way to enhance most people's way of life. So, if you are looking for MEDICAL ADVICE, please consult a medical doctor. This blog does not offer medical advice at all. I must also add that unless said doctor is one who employs naturopathy or alternative medicine, they probably don't know as much about fasting as I do, but that's neither here nor there is it? And, it still does not change the fact that I am not a doctor.
